Also, when I view it, the “Hillbilly” and the “Please” are on separate lines and almost opposite sides of the screen. Then again, my work pc doesn’t display my own blog layout properly either, so I’ll have another look when I get home.
Love everything…except the color of the background of the header. The black gives the blog title the appearance of a death announcement. While you do swim in the waters of sarcasm, I never took you for drowning in pessimism.

I like it. Fan of gray layouts personally – they make it so much easier on the eyes.
You should give the comment table and post table a different shade, so it sticks out a little more. The tab buttons also are displaying funny to me.

Okay. I just cleaned up the tab images by making them plain rectangles. Not ideal but cleaner.
Tag lines are not changing.

Honestly? I kinda liked the old layout more. I like some color. I’ll be back either way.
